State of the Art Sprinkler System at the Refrigerated Warehouse, Port of Tampa

Cox Fire Protection is proud to have recently completed a state of the art sprinkler system in a 150,000 square foot refrigerated warehouse for the Port of Tampa. The sprinkler systems included wet, dry, and pre-action systems and a single fire pump sized appropriately to feed the entire building. Over 5 miles of pipe was installed in the new facility. Cox Fire worked hand in hand with the GC (Batson-Cook), the owner and design team to successfully value engineer over $150,000 out of the scope by using alternative methods of protection and the latest technology in the fire protection industry.
