InstallationsCox Fire has been involved in the fire protection of many of Florida’s most impressive and recognizable buildings, these including difficult and unusual projects such as the USCG Hangar with 10 deluge foam systems, the Towers of Channelside, and historic projects such as the renovation of Tampa’s Hillsborough High School and Train Depot.  Cox has also had the privilege of partnering in the building of some of Florida’s most recognizable sports complexes, such as the new Buccaneer Training Facility, Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater, and Legend’s Field, the winter home and training facility for the New York Yankees.

Cox has been responsible for the design and installation of numerous sprinkler systems in Airsides A, E and F at beautiful Tampa International Airport, as well as providing fire protection for the baggage handling and conveyor areas there. 

The large system installed in Tampa’s lovely Two Harbour Place includes dual fire pumps, standpipe protection in the parking garage and a wet pipe system throughout the 20 floor office space.  Cox was selected to work on the National Guard Army Aviation Facility in Brooksville, FL, which is a 70,454 square-foot facility, housing three aircraft hangar work bays, maintenance shops, administrative areas, training space, storage buildings, and an aircraft wash space.
